A Central Florida native, Julie Clarke earned undergrad degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing in Tennessee, before completing her law degree at Florida A&M University, College of Law, in Orlando, Florida.
Her legal foundation includes internships across multiple civil practice areas such as family law, contracts, employment, bankruptcy, and personal injury. Her law school externship with the Orlando State Attorney's Office launched her career in public service.
As an Assistant State Attorney in Orlando for five years, Julie prosecuted a comprehensive range of cases from misdemeanors and DUIs to serious felonies involving special victims, including domestic violence and sex crimes. Her exceptional work led to a position with the Office of Statewide Prosecution, where as a Statewide Prosecutor, she handled complex cases including human trafficking, white-collar fraud, racketeering (RICO), and drug trafficking operations.
In 2018, Julie founded Julie Clarke Law, P.A., bringing her insider perspective and extensive courtroom experience to criminal defense. Her prosecutorial background provides clients with a strategic advantage. She understands how the other side builds cases and uses this knowledge to develop powerful defense strategies.
